Hi

Did you call? I’m in a similar boat as yours.

Hi Everyone, new to this forum. I’d like to ask. What are the chances of being nominated if crs score is 350? I am a hopeless case but just want to know my chances if still worth a try.

That's odd. I received NOI on July 12 as well for same NOC. I submitted on Aug 19 and status changed to Assessment on Aug 30.
Finally there are some movements !!! :)

My Timeline:

NOC - 2174
Submitted - Aug 3rd, 2019
Assessment - Sept 10, 2019
DIP - TBD
Nomination - TBD

Hi all,
May be a silly question, but just want to confirm, will there be any issue if I have registered my profile in Canada Job Bank while my OINP application is in process? I received NOI on 15th Aug, submitted my OINP application on 6th Sep, and registered for Job Bank today, I had also provided my Express Entry Profile number and job validation code in job bank registration, will there be any problem?

Hi michaelle,
I suggest you must go through the application guide available is OINP website. It gives clear guidelines on what documents to submit as supporting docs for relative staying in Canada.

Congratulations! You did your application in one day!

I haven’t reached 60 yet. still 53 days.

Hi bbmapel, I called OINP last night (IST). I was on hold for 68 minutes before someone picked up and I was told that the delay is normal and I should be patient and wait until I hear from them.

Thanks for the update!

I’m interested to hear how quick your application progresses after the call. I’ve read in forums that most people who called got their applications moved to the next stage the day after.

Please do keep me posted.

Hello Bikram,

I have just gone thru the OINP application guideline. In the guideline, it is mentioned that one of the criteria of "Intention to Reside in Ontario" is having relatives (e.g, I have my uncle) in Ontario.

However, OINP will go to EE pool and pick the applicants to send to them the NOI.

1) How do OINP know that I have my uncle in Ontario?
2) In EE profile, do we have option to indicate that we have relatives in Ontario? I am not in the EE pool yet and have not created the profile there. So that's why I have those confusions.

Anyone can help me to clarify?
