ONLY - Who submitted CIC-AINP(SRS-U.S. Visa Holder Category) application

When I was at NY office to submit our family's passports, Visa Officer told me that my wife can't do landing before me. As principal applicant, I need to do it first.

Had a question....mine and my wife passports got stamped by NY office was returned. My wife alone would be travelling to calgary to do the immigration formalities. I am the principal applicant. I would be flying to join my wife in calgary at later date ? As my wife is my dependent...can she do the immigration formalities at calgary before i would do mine at later date ? I am asking this question can dependent arrive into canada before the principal applicants ? seniors plss advise.

I sent an enquiry to Detroit yesterday and got reply with in an hour that my application is ready for finalization and will receive the instruction in the next few weeks. I don’t know how long still I still have to wait. It has already been over 12 months periord.

One more quick question. I have two I-94's, One with Passport (expired) and another is with H1 approval copy(I-797). So my question is 'when I leave from USA (Houston airport), I should keep both I-94's' right ?

The expired I-94 is of no use, but better to keep it. Are you going back to the US? If yes, you keep the valid one as it is required for the AVR. If not, you have to surrender it to the airline personnel.

What should I supposed to chek in section of relation ship to sponsor in my application ( I am principal application.)
Do I need to fill any thing in section 2 (principal applicant , if diffrent person in 1)

i have a question...am going to canada to land as immigrant....but my H1 visa stamp expired 2 years ago and right now with new I-797 and new I-94...will I be able to come back to U.S. on AVR? When U..S POE ask me what i did in canada?..am I gonna tell them that I landed for my PR?

Are you guys sending emails to NYC visa office? What do they say? Are they even responding?

I sent last email on June 3, 2011 and they have not responded yet.

Is there a way to contact anyone at CIC when your time line exceeds all processing time frame.

Hi Kapil,
No updates on my side so far. I sent email to NYC last week. no reply so far.
Seems like they also stop responding through automated email that they used to do earlier.
Besides email/fax I don't think there is any other way to contact them ( unless you happen to go to consulate for visitor visa and talk to them as someone mentioned earlier).

Hi,
Today I got my CAIPS report.
It says 'FILE BF'D TO: EMI ON 01-05-2011'.
Also I could see that, my medical report has been received and accessed appropriately, but how do I know that my police clearance has been received as well and no other documents are missing.
