Last Tuesday I checked my eCas status, it appears to be "We started processing your application on November 4, 2010".

But until now I haven't received the AOR/Medical Request, it has been 12 days since then.

Would any seniors like to tell me if the date appeared on the eCas with starting is the date CIC sent out the AOR/Medical Request package?

Thanks, just wondering if I need to write an email to ask CIC at this moment.

why did they ask for recent Bank Statement? Did u attach the bank statement at the time of initial application? Thanks in Advance

When i applied for PCC to DC indian consulate they took our original passports and returned the same along with the PCC after 4 weeks.
check houston consulate website on more details.

Yes, indian consulates or embassies regardless of their locations around the world require the applicant(s) to send their original passport(s) along with the PCC request.

Reason?: When the consulate issues a PCC, a PCC issuance stamp is affixed on your passport.

may i know when your file was transferred to LA? ours was transferred last Oct.26 but until now no change in e-cas

Online status updated today with "Medical results have been received."

Previously it just stated:
"We started processing your application on June xx, 2010.

We transferred your application to the Los Angeles office on October xx, 2010. The Los Angeles office may contact you."

Yesterday :

We started processing your application on June 22, 2010.
We transferred your application to the New York office on October 26, 2010. The New York office may contact you.

Today:

We started processing your application on June 22, 2010.
We transferred your application to the New York office on October 26, 2010. The New York office may contact you.
Medical results have been received.

Any guess on who might have made the updates? CIC Buffalo office or NYC office?
Since the file was transferred to NYC, I am hoping its the NYC office. If my assumption is true that means some activity is going on with our files and we can hope to hear something soon.

Is there anyone who had similar experience, if so when did you get Passport Request from Regional Canadian Consulate after the e-case status update to "Medicals Received".

I too received the receipt for the $455 paid as RPRFwith my AOR.

there are two stages for the indian PCC. one stage you need to send copies and second stage you have to send the original passport. the process details can be found on the indian embassy site.

this is the first time i am hearing about bank statements asked for pnp. are you sure you are in the pnp stream and not fsw?

Medicals completed in 1st week of July
Medicals reached Ottawa last week of July
Request for missing medical (spouse's x-ray was missing from the packet), last week of Sept.
X-ray sent to Ottawa in the last week/first week of Oct.
File transferred to Detroit mid-Oct.
Emailed Detroit consulate about medicals (if they were complete) on Oct. 20
Consulate confirmed medicals complete on Oct. 21
PPR request around Oct. 22
Passports sent to Detroit on Nov. 1
Reached Detroit on Nov. 2
Passports received with visa stamp on Nov. 16
Note: Had included pre-paid FedEx envelope, but Detroit sent in regular mail anyways
Will likely go to Coutts (presently living in Calgary) to complete landing formalities

Around the same date. Don't worry buddy.. There is no pattern. As someone said, maybe they go off of original filing dates.

Barcode on the right bottom side of the envelop . Yes i read on buffalo website that you have to mention height and eye color on the back of the photo ( could not find the link right now )

Please let me know what we need to keep ready for PPR... i am putting a list below-do let me know if i miss something:

1. 3 photographs(3.5X4.5 cm) for each family member -mention date photo taken & name on back of one photo for each member (do we need to mention anything else?)
2. Passports
3. Return Express USPS mail envelope
4. Have read in few old posts that we need to write height & eyes color on some document....haven't been able to find that plus we need to sign some agreement on passport return- cudn't find that either....can we get a copy of that somewhere?

Is there anything i am missing here....thanks!!
