hello everyone, i don't belong to this category but am posting just so I can track movements on Buffalo applications. our file got transferred to Los Angeles today, seems a lot of people are receiving emails regarding file transfer....

guys.. i did send my application CIC buffalo on July 27th... i haven't got my AOR/Medical yet... my question is MY IELTS score got expired...so when the CIC issues me a AOR/Medical request... will they ask me to take the IELTS again ? Appreciate your answer.

got an email today morning "We transferred your application to the New York office on October 19, 2010. The New york office may contact you"


now i don't know if i would have trouble sending passport from calgary to new york???

anyone with information on this issue please share....

My file was also transferred to New York on October 19, and the online status shows that.

AS a provincial nominees we not need IELTS scores, unless I am missing something.

is there a chance that they might transfer ours to New Delhi?

I was justing thinking about that. Maybe, we need to request a transfer. First of all, not sure if they transfer files outside the US. On the other hand, I am also concerned that this might cause a delay in the process. what do you think?

I feel lucky that I got my PPR, and this long process of one year and half is almost over.

How does transfer of case to a "local" office translate to celebration? Do we expect these offices to process PR files faster? I thought they will not have the required bandwidth as they are more adept at processing visitor/temporary visas. Or are we assuming that Buffalo has given these transferred files so that the local office can just complete the visa issuance formalities for the PR files? Does any one have an insight into what is the processing speed here?

As i sent my application to CIC on July 1st....
and check was encashed on Sep 2 so I am waiting on my medicals
Please could you through some light on this what is minimum time and when I will be receiving it

Hello Virgos, I have the similar timeline as yours. My ECAS status changed today. Most likely your ECAS status will changes next Tuesday.

Thanks Jxyj01....Well I wrote about ECAS status in my update because otherwise next question from some of the folks would have been about ECAS status.
Really it does not matter anymore what ECAS status says.....file is with a different consulate........and we don't know what their timeline is going to be.....or if they would request any further information...or ask for an interview...........

I will just wait until any further communication from NY consulate.......lets hope for the best....

It appears that you and I are on the same timeline inlcuding jxyj01.(He is few days ahead of us).
Keep us posted if you hear anything from Canada- NYC office.
