True. Irrespective of the date of pp request, in the most recent past, they have been issuing visas for one year from the date of medicals.

Did you contact the DMP office and ask them if they have sent it to Ottawa already? if yes, please take the tracking number and keep the fedex/UPS (anyother courier service) delivery confirmation screen shots for your records.

This is the date the visa officer will open your file next. For example, after the officer has opened your file, assessed and issued your AOR, he will make a note of when this file will be visited next, for re assessment.
