I have used USPS express mail to send my documents. I also included on prepaid express mail envelope along with my documnets.

The one you put in with your documents for getting your passports, please remember to put Consulate's Address in the From Section of the Label and Your home address in the To section.

My passports were recieved on 03/09 by NY. But i had sent new photos to them yesterday. I am curious if that would have any negative effect

Thanks for the info King80. No it will NOT have ANY effect on your application, not even positive lol. But you should be happy that within 5 days you got your visa stamped. Usually they update the e cas to decision made only after they stamp your passport.
So you should receive your passport soon. You are quite lucky. Else people have waited even 4 weeks to get their passports back.

I used FEDEX today to send my photos and docs. I also used fedex as my return envelope where I prepaid for the return shipment.

you can use anything, even USPS, UPS or DHL is fine. But better go with fedex.

Once there was an eager wait to get the PPR and now once we got it, again the intense curiosity to know how long will it take for us to get the passports back. Man this is a never ending process till you complete your landing.

Small update on my situation with CIC Buffalo . I had sent them FBI cert's in February ( FBI cert's dated Dec 2010) and recently got the letter with 90days time to send FBI cert's.I was puzzled and after a series of emails the VO said my file has not been updated with the Feb ones and he is not willing to confirm if they received them. I sent them repeated emails with the confirmation numbers from UPS and also faxes with the same information.

Have not heard back from them and do not know if there is a history of Buffalo losing packets or taking too long to update...meanwhile have applied for the third set of FBI cert's ...as the clock is ticking with the 90 days because even if they find the Dec 2010 cert's they might come right back and say they are outdated and need new ones...

They also asked me to pay the RPRF in the 90 days letter ( not sure if I should go ahead and pay it or wait till this situation is resolved ).

I have repeatedly tried to tell them to update my file but no response is forthcoming....any suggestions senior on resolving this or just have to wait wait wait and wait...
