Did you status also change or it is just email you got it. Please advise.

I just got email from CIC Buffalo that my file has been transferred to Canadian Consulate General

1251 Avenue of the Americas. But they didn't ask me to submit RPRF fee
My timeline is

CIC Buffalo office filed 3/12/ 2010
Returended because of error on my personal histry part.
reapply March 29 2010
AOR and medical request recieved July 28th 2010
Medical Done 8/5/10
Medical reached to Ottawa 8/17/10

for me, i got an email informing me of the file transfer. a week after e-cas was updated with another sentence saying-
"Your file was transferred to the Los Angeles consulate on October 26,2010. The Los Angeles consulate may contact you."

but status is still "In Process"

No not yet... it still says "We started processing your application on July 15, 2010". Probably they would take a week to update it, hopefully!

Congrats!!!!!!!! My file status shows that it got started processing July 12 , but medicals reached Sep 8th . I am waiting eagerly

Hi, today I cahecked my ecas and it says, "We transferred your application to the Detroit office on December 7, 2010. The Detroit office may contact you."
