I am not sure.
I just sent mine to Buffalo but I do not have my file transferred to LA, even though I live in NV.

If not paid RPRF, I'd suggest to wait until the relevant Canada Office requests for it. Paying it does not hasten the processing... I haven't paid yet, and will wait for request.

Satyac,

In general, its easy to apply for SIN cards when in Canada. If you missed doing so, you can always apply for them the next time you enter Canada.

The SIN cards have no bearing on your status as a PR in Canada.

Cheers,

I don't know, Why people will apply for Canada PR and wasting Visa numbers. Instead they can stay happily in US and contniue with their perm labor and I-140.

Hi omar,
I checked right after seeing your post (as my date is just ahead of yours) and presto, I had the transfer email too! Apparently the office is expected to complete processing within 90 days as they mention "Do not request the status of your file within ninety (90) days of the date of this". But we should expect something sooner.
Best!

I just seached the previous posts and saw that your app reached CIC in May and you might have gotten AOR/Medicals in August. Could you please post your timeline. If yours is a august medicals case then huge jump in the timeline for August medicals guys as it took an eternity for june/july medical folks.

vsrao, Jasper,

We would hate to lose the fantastic job you guys did with the spreadsheet. It was an excellent tool to track our stages and patterns though it has not been updated because you've been busy with your day jobs. Many of us are in the throes of PPR and may not have time to reply to this forum. The spreadsheet will give others much required insight into past cases. So it will be good if you could pass on the spreadsheet to other folks who have some ways to go before seeing the end of tunnel. Could you guys identify some one and pass on the spreadsheet to them so that they can maintain it going forward?
Thanks.

I had changed my mailing address and new one shows up on ecase cic site about one month ago and now my file is sent to LA Office.

Email from buffalo says that "Do not use the CIC e-Cas on-line change of address system. Your new address will not be downloaded to your file in Los Angeles."

Do applicants have to inform LA about change of address again?
