its a pilot project for what ? and what quality they are checking ?

I have no ideas.

The Ontario PNP - Master Stream is a pilot program. It was indicated on OPNP's website and it has lasted 4 years from 2010. I think that CIC now wants to evaluate the effectiveness of this program. If the program is good, it will be continued. Otherwise, they will close the program. Anyway, it's only my guess.

We are "lucky" that we are in the last batch and we are selected for their evaluation ... I just wonder what could happen after this evaluation. I have many friends that do not have either two years of work experience or a permanent full time job.

A young master graduate usually did not have two years' work experience. After they work for 2 years and have a permanent job offer in Canada, they are already eligible for FSW or CEC(a year ago). Also 2 years after graduation makes them ineligible for the ON PNP program. CIC just request something silly and conflicting each other. They will kill the ON PNP program.

Unless you are willing to do jobs like shop assistants, sales, or similar things.

I am also curious. The most optimistic case is that they are just collecting the information from us (probably for the purpose of testing for the new EOI system).

:'( Why are we the chosen ones?

but why only ontario pnp n not any other province .. is eio only for ontario . no .. its for canada so same should be applied to all provinces then ,...

I think they want to verify that masters students have made reasonable efforts to settle in the nominating province. As most of them are July applicants, so they must have payed taxes or worked somewhere for last one year.

Calling all July applicants when was your medical done. Because of this process what is the possibility that the medicals may expire by the time CIC completes the quality assurance project. Any ideas ?

They demand more than paying taxes for the last one year. They demand two years of relevant(intended occupation) work experience and permanent job offers. It is not like you can provide some experience as restaurant servers or shop assistants.

As the economy is struggling to recover with sluggish speed, it is quite normal for master students to take more than one year to find a relevant decent job.

I hightly doubt how many master students can find a permanent decent job within one year.

Even a lot of domestic master students in my school took two years to find a somewhat decent job.

If CIC is strict on this issue, ON PNP will soon lose its popularity.

Now the dilemma is would u do menial jobs just for immigrations regardless of considerations of your career paths?

If I had to make choices, I would leave Canada to find some better opportunities.

bro, I still don't understand the requirement.

Do they need 2 years work experience or a permanent full time job offer or both?

bcoz if it is both why would someone apply thru PNP?? >:( :o

and who are receiving this email? i mean only june-july or applicants or who applied later also are seeing this??

i really hope this is some kind of a joke or something

Bro, only CIC knows the exact answer.

I guess the relationship is 'or'. Either u have relevant work experience no matter where u gain it, or you have a permanent job offer.

Maybe CIC is raising the bar for master and PhD applicants to pass their PR tests. We will receive same emails later just like June-July applicants.

Those June and July applicants left for pilot project tests are not strong enough in their backgrounds.

Possibly CIC wants to give them a last chance to prove their eligibility for PRs.

Bro, I am not optimistic on my own case if the new requirement for ON PNP by CIC kicks in.

Above are my prediction. They may be wrong.

December applicants may receive those requests later. Who knows?

It is uncertain, I specifically know few people who applied in November 2013 and already landed and now waiting for PR card.
