ON PNP-reference letter needed for verification-after PPR?

It seems like only applicants applied in June/July are asked for these verification. I know several people applied in Dec 2013 to March 2014, but no one received a similar email.

@moonbow2010: Agree with you. Permanent jobs are hard to find these days. It takes anywhere from one to 10 months to find a job. Competition is high. I mean any jobs (permanent, contract, temporary, part-time) in category O, A or B. In my opinion, it's already good if an applicant has income and is able to support his family.

I know some of my PR friends having decent Canadian PhDs or masters found stable jobs after 2-3 years of struggle. Giving ppl PRs is the first step to boost them in the job market. Sadly, governments don't think so.

So far looking at the comments and the people I have talked to, majority are June/July applicants. Perhaps, all these applicants are handled by a single officer who decided to inspect the legitimacy.

may be ... n ottawa have done these kind of things in past like they told many people that u cannot add ur spouse in file n have to wait till u complete pr but on the same time they have added the spouses for many people...

Here is the new update from CIC quoted from other agent's source. It seems that they insist on providing those documents and want our explanation on why it can't be provided if any

The applicant must follow the instructions in ourletter. If there are documents that they are unable to submit, then theyshould explain why they are not available.

All those who have depenants in their aplication are getting this receipt. People from august, sep, oct, nov have no such complaints and they are pr as well

Do u mean even if aug,sep applicants have dependents having no problem obtaining pr?

Usually if aug sep people have dependants then they have not yet reached DM stage
I know many from aug sep till nov who are now pr but they are singles

I am july applicant and single and i got this as well. so i dont think its only people who have dependants
