OINP PR- without express entry

Hi, I have submitted my PR under the PNP nomination without express entry. I checked the timeline and it says 20 months. Will the processing take actual 20 months or is it much less now?
2) Since I have submitted my PR. My work permit is expiring this Dec, so I have to extend it. Can someone tell for how long the work permit is extended?. Is it called bridging work permit?

Check the Bridging Open Work Permit program for case where you already received your AOR and you are in-country.
