Hello Seniors,

I received a document request from ONIP and asking for some additional documents. I have a query on this point below:

"An update and evidence of applying for a work permit, given the expiry of your Work Permit on January 30, 2017"

I haven't applied for work permit extension and I need to know what explanation should I give to them?? Please advise me. I am thinking to apply in first week of December for work permit extension.

Also, they asked this below:

"OINP requires that you have the intention to reside in Ontario. Please provide:
- Copy of your current lease, indicating validity dates "

Should I include my automobile mortgage, automobile insurance along with my current lease where I am renting out??

Explain them that you are planning to apply for extension in December as processing time is less than 36 days for an online application

Do I have to write a Letter of intention to ONIP officer and mention whatever you have told:- "Explain them that you are planning to apply for extension in December as processing time is less than 36 days for an online application " ??????

I am a silent follower who would like to thank you guys, that even not knowing who helped me a lot to go through these tough months, You've just got my nomination. I applied on Jan 6 received AOR in July ... got document request twice. My consultant sent the docs last night this morning I received the email my application was in the decision make and few hours later I got the great news

hi guys i got my AINP today.. and i got an email from OINP on 3rd nov that my file is in decision phase.
i am confused if i should still wait for OINP.
Please suggest??

Notification - Referral of Nominee Application to the Decision Phase (MP)
Please be advised that your application to the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) has been referred to a senior processing officer for a decision. The program will contact you should we require additional information to support the decision on your application. Otherwise, the program will contact you again when a decision has been made on your application.

Yes, my email is the same. Officer is RM though.

upto you, depends on where you want to move really... if you want to move to Ontario, then wait for OINP to nominate you
