OINP/ Ontario PNP sent in Jan 2016, Lets connect Here

  1. Hi all...I posted this in one of the pinned threads but I see that someone previous to me asked the same question...with no response there so thought I would ask those who are knowledgeable about OINP...

If one has created an express entry profile (439 points), and then subsequently receives an offer for a provincial nomination from Ontario, does that mean if he accepts that offer, his profile is removed from the federal EE pool? Can other provinces still see his entry? If he declines the offer, will his profile remain in the pool or be withdrawn? We live in Alberta, and were hoping that my brother in law could immigrate to Canada and come and live with us in Alberta (and eventually find work here) - to help reduce his living expenses. I know the work opportunities are likely better in Ontario but the additional cost of living (plus having him so far away) isn't so great. What do you suggest? Thank you so much in advance :)
  2. Hi,

Could you please help me to know how you proceed post this situation as I am in the same.
  3. i have non-accompanying spouse and my EE profile score is of 462 for which I have got a NOI from Ontario . Is there a minimum criteria or points that i need to meet while applying OINP nomination? I am asking this because if i get nomination , i want to go and add my spouse in my EE profile as accompanying to take care of the shortage of points .

Should i declare my spouse as accompanying or does it have to be exactly matching CRS score of my EE profile ? or will they still give nomination if the score drops as accompanying spouse drops my score to 425. Cutoff on HCP-OINP is between 462-470 in HCP-OINP on jan 15th 2020
