I just can not believe that they reply pre aor email so fast these days. They may have replied everybody without checking your app just to reduce the number of inquiries and complaints. I hope not.

Oh!! no :'( OINP is mailing the message "Reviewed and Accepted" after great due diligence. (Checking the application docs, completeness)

Be assured, OINP is / will not succumb to any pressure from applicants to respond. It's a government institution.

There are legal implications associated if they err.

Don't lose hopes yet, friend!... I learnt from this forum that OINP is expected to open window for fresh applications somewhere in Oct/Nov this year. You can try again.

It seems other provinces frown upon having previous applications to other provinces, does anyone knows if my case (application returned due to being deemed "incomplete" ) is considered as an actual application or because it failed on the initial filter it cannot be considered as an application?

In other words, should I mention that I applied to Ontario even when they didn't do any real processing on my documents (they didn't cash the check so I guess it doesn't count).

This is sad. However, there is no appeal process for incomplete applications. If they reject your application post AOR, then you get to file an appeal (reconsideration request).

I see your point. I still wrote them an email saying I am very upset since I could have fixed the situation or send my complete application again before they decided not to take any more applications on May if they had replied my communication with some sort of useful information. I am not keeping any hopes but I felt I needed to let them know my point of view.

Hi,
In my opinion also do a fax to them and emphasize on that they asked you to hold and take further action upon instructions. Also mention date of your e-mail and their reply. In addition you can call them as well and politely explain matter and request to reconsider your application.

If this doesn't work then DON't LOOSE HOPE. Start preparing for IELTS and increase your score. This is not last OINP draw and not last immigration option. Wishing you all the best!!!

I don't know when we will get Nominated, AORs are just like tokens.
