I will be requesting for PR card renewal after submitting my citizenship application. I am requesting because i plan to travel out of Canada after PR expires. Do i need to contact IRCC and update my new PR details? Will the PR card number change when renewed? Thanks.

It looks like 2 more months for all of us to get test invite . Or at least hope to get any new update around 25 January

If one person in the family receives AOR everyone receives it... If you have already checked your spam and deleted emails for an e-mail ending with "cic.gc.ca", I would suggest calling IRCC and getting the application number for the missing AOR and verify the e-mail address associated with that application

Since your's is a paper application, you may try logging in to ECAS (link in signature) to find the application number as well. However, you'll still need to contact IRCC via phone to verify the e-mail address associated with that application

Once you get the application number, you can link it with the new tracker (link in signature).

I tried the ECAS with my UCI (with out "-") but I get the below message. Ill try calling the IRCC tomorrow.

We were not able to identify you using the information you provided. There could be three possible reasons:

  • Please be sure the information you entered is correct and then try again.
  • This service is only available to clients with applications in process. We may have received your application but not begun processing it yet. The following link may help you determine if your application is being processed:
    Application Processing Times
  • At this time, you may use this on-line service if you have:
    • sponsored a member of the family class;
    • applied for permanent residence from within or outside Canada;
    • applied for a permanent resident card (replacement or renewal);
    • applied for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship);
    • applied for Canadian citizenship for a person adopted by a Canadian citizen (on or after January 1, 1947);
    • applied for a citizenship certificate (proof of Canadian citizenship);
    • applied to renounce Canadian citizenship; or
    • applied to resume Canadian citizenship.

Are you able to create account for new tracker? How long its been for you since you received AOR?

I am able to create an account for the remaining 3 applicants but not mine. They received their AOR in November 21st.

Till you receive AOR for your application it will not work. Try calling IRCC and try getting the Application Number in case they missed sending you the AOR. ECAS as such has very limited information. New Tracker is better.
