It was 8 weeks before the latest update. The lowest I saw it get down to was 5 weeks I think, earlier this year.

Just received AOR, application received in Mississauga 2019-10-10

Feels good to reach step 1 good luck to everybody here, and thanks to this forum and all the members who helped us to fill the forms without mistakes. Without that, our application would have been returned .. had so many mistakes at first.
