I followed this link and I answered couple of questions and there answer was Yes I need to give biometrics. But they didn't sent me biometric request yet. In Inland CEC applicantions approximately when do they ask for biometrics and RCMP report? My MEP was Dec10,2019
I think IRCC started biometrics for inland applicants from Jan 2020. As your MEP was in Dec 2019, you are probably exempt from Biometrics. You can check IRCC website. As you didn't get any request you don't have to worry

I called CIC today . Not much movement after the first call a month ago .

Eligibity is recommended pass
Criminality is passed
Security not started
Info Sharing is completed.
VO-Ottawa
Oct 17 AOR
The agent is reluctant in giving information . he said Eligibility is not passed yet and waiting for security to get cleared .
Any idea on what exactly is meant by Info sharing ? I have two years of Stay in UK

Hi All,

Connected the call with CIC Agent and got to know that my Eligibility is Met which he said is the first step. Had last called on 30th January and at that time Eligibility was under Review. So now not sure how long will it take.
My AOR is 5th October and Visa Office is CPC Ottawa

Dont worry about info sharing. It generally means they have shared your information with other departments like RCMP etc.

Asking for biometrics from CEC applicants is recent update so you would need to ask people who applied around your time. As a CEC applicant in October, I didn't need biometrics but my friends in months after required biometrics

The date requiring biometrics was Dec 4th and on. My AOR was Dec 5th. (-:
