I shouldnt be worried that its not decision made even though I have got SA right since it would take time for Ecas to update?

Oh yeah! If you have SA then that's the most accurate document!
Your Ecas has just not been updated!

The letter would show the date. Or it says "Your file has been forwarded on to ..."

(We got AOR over email, but SA via post! How bizarre!)

Weird my doesn't have a date on it but it does say it was sent to the visa office:

This refers to the Application to Sponsor a Member of the Family Class you submitted to this office on

ah I see, cause I thought there was a date mentioned that the file was forwarded on the specific date

yes, I agree. in letter it is written that "your file has been sent blah blah blah", so I would also mark the date of the letter as file transfer

EDIT: date is at the top, just under CIC logo and Canadian flag, above UCI.

(from the date he got SA)
