My ECAS status changed.

I already got an email with the SA letter so why is it saying they will deliver by mail?
We sent you a letter on January 17, 2015 about the decision on your application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

that is the standard formatting for ECAS once SA is received. remember, what happens on ECAS happens AFTER CIC has already contacted the sponsor/applicant. this does not mean they mailed you a letter. this means they have contacted you regarding the decision, which came in email. some people get mailed letters, some get email. again, it's STANDARD.

did you email say, since the confirmation was given by email no other confirmation will be given.

It could just be an internal thing and ecas not being updated with the email being sent.. I would think there is thing to worry about

bhkr0008, My ECAS status changed today too to "desicion made" for the sponsor. I got my SA email on Jan 16th and for me too is says:
We sent you a letter on January 16, 2015 about the decision on your application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

I think its just a generic status update, because for some people they actually send SA by snail mail and for some it is email. Do not worry about that line.
I am just happy they updated ECAS withing a few days. Waiting to hear something from our VO now. Not sure if NDVO sends anything though.

no. there is no reason to send anything to cic UNTIL it is requested from cic. whether you've changed jobs has no bearing on the applicaiton. they don't care.

If you are getting all correspondence to your home address, I don't think work address would matter. No point complicating things

well from here onwards in about 2 weeks principal applicant should expect an email from NDVO for AOR2..

(We got AOR over email, but SA via post! How bizarre!)

im the sponsor and as long as i received an SA after that it should be all good on my side right..

yes, exactly. now that the file has been transferred, the APPLICANT will be receiving all communication from this point forward. at this time, there's really nothing more to do. it's important to understand and expect there will be months of silence until anything happens with the file. checking ecas daily really will NOT help the process move quicker.

I am curious where it says it was transferred to NDVO on the letter or ecas
