yes, exactly. now that the file has been transferred, the APPLICANT will be receiving all communication from this point forward. at this time, there's really nothing more to do. it's important to understand and expect there will be months of silence until anything happens with the file. checking ecas daily really will NOT help the process move quicker.

You deserve so many +1 [Good] s but this forum won't allow me to do it for another 168 hours! :|

Thats great news congrats..

I am curious where it says it was transferred to NDVO on the letter or ecas

Thank you Draxz! :D
It said Transferred to NDVO only on the letter.
Ecas doesn't even say it's been approved- Just "a decision has been made regarding your application"
But under the category of the principal applicant it said "application recd & medicals recd" and that means it's been approved.
But it's awful that they won't just say that on Ecas and save us the mental agony!

Sorry for the dumb question, but how do you +1 someone? I don't see that option anywhere ;D

On the left side, under the name of the member is ratings & under that [Good] & [Poor]
If you hit Good it +1s the rating. :)

In my letter it didnt give the date when it was transferred but just it was..

My Ecas also just says application received on mine and my wife's.

Yes looks like Ecas is not updated frequently with the file changes.

Happy for you

Thank you! :)

Mine was also application received for both of us, until one day it just said decision made.

My husband called them on the 90th day and they flagged the file and told him that he would get an answer in a week or two. And right on time, within the week, it changed to Decision made.

You should call them if it doesn't change to 'decision made' by the 90th day.

They told him over the phone that if he had called on the 89th or 88th day, they would have had to tell him to "wait two weeks"
but after 90 days, they can flag it so that the CIC people will give an update on the specific file.

I'm sure you will be approved & the file will be transferred before you know it!

That's what happened with me, my file has probably reached NDVO (or is on it's way) but I only know that now, over a week later!

Congrats Tannygirl.

I shouldnt be worried that its not decision made even though I have got SA right since it would take time for Ecas to update?
