Finally! We got an Oath invitation on Tuesday evening for October 26th in Mississauga office (test was in Scarborough). They almost met the 1 year deadline as our application was delivered on October 25th last year.

I wrote my test on August 9 and passed, unfortunately my husband had to reschedule his test due to some work things. He wrote his test yesterday and also passed!

This morning, DECISION MADE at long last! Waiting impatiently now for the oath invitation!

Glad to see things moving along, although it's quite shocking to me that people with a court record (dismissed or not) are getting ahead of those with a clean record...still, good on you for moving ahead.

Nothing would shock me when it comes to IRCC ,except for the day they actually realize they need to work on my case, which apparently hasn’t happened yet

Why would a dismissed court record send someone to the bottom of a queue? If the IRCC officer is satisfied with the application, it moves along, Simple.

How hard the citizenship test is? The book seems to have so much information names and dates. Do we need to really know everything?

If the IRCC treated these matters with the simplicity you seem to think they operate with, then why are you still here 12 months after applying?
