When you will get an oath invite it will be a letter, telling you date and time and what to bring on that.

Based on your question, you do not need a police certificate. And will not asked to provide one if officer is satisfied that total days spend outside Canada are less than 183 for any particular country.

I have spent over 183 days outside of canada but not just in one country. Approximately 80days in one country and 120 days in another. That’s why I’m confused. Beacause what i know is that when you spend 183 days outside of canada in one country you get a police certificate from that particular country. The officer told me to give her the dates and i did but i had no written proof of it I don’t know of they’ll go with just that or not. She seemed satisfied and didn’t say anything. She said you’ll be getting you oath next. What do think? Do you have any information regarding this situation? Or anyone?

I had the same issue, but not as many entries. It took about a week for DM. I’m American though so that may be a factor. Hopefully you will not have to do RQ.

My wife had the same thing happen - test on Feb. 8th, during interview the officer needed to check with CBSA to cross-reference stamps (she is American, so roughly 30 trips including a lot of day trips). Took about ~6 business days to change to DM.

I have about 50 entrirs into canada over the past 5 years all from the US. The visits were usually 3 days and some only day visits. Because i also had a nexus, a lot of times no stamps were added to my passport. Due to this, the officer was not able to validate all my absense with just the passport and said that the inquiry to cbsa will be needed before my application can be complete

This is exactly my case. I had to mail a copy of every page in my passport after the interview (which they would have received in the mail today). I really hope they move quickly on this, because this waiting game AFTER the citizenship test would be so demoralizing...

I have 72 pages of visa stamps in my passport. I'm submitting them to a service for translation of non-English stamps.

Some stamps have been smeared to the point of being unreadable.
Is that going to be a problem during the passport stamp review at the interview?

Need help to pass the test as I can’t read whole book and have test on 28 feb in Edmonton .
Are the sample question at the end of book are enough to pass or need something else ?
Please reply who have already gone through this .

Sorry, I have no idea. One of my friends who took the test with me just got a FP request. I ll check my mailbox in a few minutes. I haven't tried calling the call centre on my application yet.

I was requested FP before test invitre in December. FP were completed and have already been received by CIC on January 25. I had my test on February 15. Interviewer said she is awaiting my background checks? It looks like cic has not done anything on background checks until they received my FP.

Hmm, i think we might be different. She went through all my pages and did not find the corresponding entry or exit stamps which is why she made the cbsa request. She wont find anything in the photocopies.

Oh ok. My officer didn't bother going through my stamps in the first place because he saw so many trips listed in my citizenship application (and then didn't want me to "go to sleep while he checked every stamp"). So he had asked me to mail a copy of the passport instead, so he can go through it in his own time.
