Interesting. Do you have an approximate numbers of entries in your residence calculator? And what do you mean by unverifiable stamps, can you give us more details on this?

I have about 50 entrirs into canada over the past 5 years all from the US. The visits were usually 3 days and some only day visits. Because i also had a nexus, a lot of times no stamps were added to my passport. Due to this, the officer was not able to validate all my absense with just the passport and said that the inquiry to cbsa will be needed before my application can be complete

Are you a US citizen? If not, didn't you authorize CIC/IRCC to access your CBSA records when applying for citizenship? If you did, shouldn't CIC/IRCC already have your travel records?

Did you call whats taking too long? In my case i remembered her saying background checks awaiting

Test passed. Because of my numerous absenses and unverifiable stamps on my passport though the citizenship officer has to request all entry information from cbsa before approving it so mine may be a slow application.

So, do you have to send some document, or they will do it on own? They must want history from US CBP

Haven't called them. I honestly didn't think they'd be of great help. The officer at the interview didn't mention any background or security check, he only said they have to check with CBSA to verify my stamps. He said that this should usually take up to 2 weeks, but am not quite sure if this is just a cliche answer that he has to say.

No, I am indian. I go to the US a lot for work.

I did authorize that, but I guess its not something they do anymore unless there is a need to?

They said if they arent able to validate my information with CBSA then I will get an RQ which is when I will have to request my records from the US. I dont have to do it right now according to the officer.

I had the same issue, but not as many entries. It took about a week for DM. I’m American though so that may be a factor. Hopefully you will not have to do RQ.
