I wrote my test on Feb 16 in Ottawa and just got DM this morning. Nothing yet on the oath ceremony though. I guess I'll get a letter in the mail (even though I've indicated email communication preference).

Hello, may not be the best thread to ask this but please feel free to redirect me for my question. For the citizenship test, is there an alternative resource to study from? The official book is too much to read. There;s a difference, I am not saying its too much to study, just saying that I am not a fan of such an elaborate format. I would prefer concise notes and bullet points format while studying.

I have taken all the 250 questions from apnatoronto.com and 150 questions from Richmond Library and have consistently got 80-85% across all the tests. I also have access to all incorrect questions. Will this be enough for me to pass the test? Do we have any more resources for practice tests?

Thank you.

I will be honest to you! If you want to be Canadian Citizen you should read the book its great knowledge you will learn for your new country. I pass my test on Wednesday and already it was Decision Made today. And I pass with 20/20. All its takes to pass exams its about 7 to 10 minutes but you have 30 Minutes. With reading book you wouldn't miss any information. I took some online test but at the end after the test I saw the best way is to study the book. Its easy and take it as fun like night reading it wont harm your day. Hopefully this help

I agree, I have already enjoyed learning so much. But I cannot do a book format. I'll check out the official audio format as I'm a better listener than a reader. Thanks for your help!

Please add me to the spreadsheet:

Name: glob
App sent: October 11th
App delivered: same day (October 11th)
AOR: November 16th
In process: December 8th

I called IRCC today in the morning, talked to an agent and she told me that the last record that she sees in the system is that the application is in transit from Sydney to Mississauga.
I am *so* frustrated. Really? In transit? For two and a half months? Does it mean it is lying on a shelf all this time and no one even looked at it?
The agent couldn't provide me with any meaningful explanations.

What are the other steps that the agents can see in their system between "IN PROCESS" and "TEST INVITE" states?

They can see when your file was sent out from CPC Sydney, and when it arrived at your local office, Mississauga. They can also see if there is any correspondences.

@Kan_Sri : single, 1263 days.

@sansnom : there was no entry in the system indicating that they *received* it at Mississauga CPC.
Does it mean that the application could be lost? Or they acknowledge that they received an application only when they start actually looking into it?

It's most-likely still in-transit. Mine took a week from CPC Sydney to Scarborough, I've heard someone's took two weeks... :(
