I live in Toronto. I want to apply for OCI. Since we need to cancel the voter id, I created an account in voters.eci.gov.in .
I am able to fill the form7 online,but when I tried to e-sign, I could not reach the website to sign. page did not load. Is there anyone who face similar issue.Any idea how to proceed forward?Thanks a lot

I downloaded the form 7 - filled it out in paper and ink - attached pertaining documents - and sent it to Election registrar's office in India with DHL - expensive but this counts as submitting the voter's card according to chat gpt

Its more than a week after dispatch from printing cell. BLS status is not yet changed for pickup.

My BLS tracker status is "processing at consulate general" since for very long time. However, I am yet have acknowledgement at the OCI portal.

Premium process should include postal charges too. For our surrender certificate applications, premium process included postal charges. We did not use premium processing for OCI cards, only paid return courier fee at BLS.

I had requested for collection even though I submitted premium. They haven’t responded to my email query. Going to go in person tomorrow to collect it and hopefully should be okay.

May be try using VPN or take a remote access through system in India to complete the application. Might work.
