Also submitted at BLS Toronto Oct 11, 2025 and used premium service, and got the same message today: "Please complete your application by uploading the required documents."

BLS tracking said Processing at Consulate General since October, but ociservices.gov.in website said Application Date was Nov 13, 2025.

Flight to India is on Sunday and I already applied for e-entry visa Nov 29, 2025 but that is pending.

Update: The ociservices.gov.in website says GRANTED December 3.

I still have not gotten any response for the e-entry visa. Does it mean that the process for the e-entry visa is automatically cancelled? Or is it still possible to get the e-entry visa approved? If that's the case, would the e-entry visa still be valid if I wanted to fly out of Toronto Sunday, December 7?

Want to know how long it would take for people these days between the grant of OCI and receiving the document.

BLS tracker shows OCI card status

December 03, 2025 (Ready for collection/courier) OCI cards were granted on November 21, 2025. So 11-12 days from grant status to collection. We actually paid for courier after completion of submission. So hoping to see tracking numbers soon.

I’m out of the country till Dec 10th, BLS did say they can hold the OCI until picked up. Does anybody have any experience of this ? I’m thinking of emailing support and informing them to hold till I’m back on Dec 11th.

Did you pay for courier? If yes the courier company holds it for 1-2 weeks after which it returns back to BLS where they do hold it for a month.

Did you pay for courier? If yes the courier company holds it for 1-2 weeks after which it returns back to BLS where they do hold it for a month.

No didn’t pay for courier. Requested for bls collection in person. So I’m hoping it should be fine to pick up next week. Says ready for collection as of now.

It took more than a month to see it "under processing" in OCI portal after seeing it as "under processing" in BLS tracking. It is normal.

My OCI application status changed to “Please complete your application by uploading the required documents” but I haven’t received any email. What should I do?

Today when I checked the status on the OCI portal, it shows:

“Please complete your application by uploading the required documents.”

But I didn’t receive any email from CGI explaining which documents are missing.

Has anyone experienced this before?
Do they usually email later, or should I proactively contact CGI Vancouver/BLS?

Any help or similar experiences would be appreciated. Thanks!

Premium process should include postal charges too. For our surrender certificate applications, premium process included postal charges. We did not use premium processing for OCI cards, only paid return courier fee at BLS.

mine dissapeared today after it showed for about 5 calendar days. i am not sure what it means. my OCI App was submitted to BLS on oct 17.

I don't think so it still takes more than 2 months to approve.

I live in Toronto. I want to apply for OCI. Since we need to cancel the voter id, I created an account in voters.eci.gov.in .
I am able to fill the form7 online,but when I tried to e-sign, I could not reach the website to sign. page did not load. Is there anyone who face similar issue.Any idea how to proceed forward?Thanks a lot
