Where to upload that surrender form in upload documents section??

Just filling out my OCI form. It’s such a complicated process.

1) I’m confused about the signature upload.
Do they want us to sign on a piece of blank paper, scan that and cut it into proper dimensions to upload?

If so, can I just use a digital signature of mine?

2) I do not have a voter ID don’t remember ever applying for it. In that case will a self declaration be sufficient?

3) All documents uploaded needs to be self attested or just the hard copies?

What is the declaration form we should upload under Indian Visa ? can you please give the link to the declaration form ? Who has to sign ? - Kid thumbprint or parent or parent's signature ?

For the voter ID? I’m going to attach it as one PDF with my Indian passport

So I got married in the UK. As per Canadian law, UK marriage is considered legal and I do not have to register it in Canada.

Now in terms of OCI, what do I do? Can I just upload the marriage certificate since Canada considers it legal or do I need to get it attested from UK consulate?

Has anyone gone through something similar? Such a frustrating experience that I’m almost giving up in having an OCI

1. Postal application was submitted on April 21, 2025 and BLS processed on April 24, 2025.
2. Walk-in application was submitted on April 28, 2025.

I see both applications as Under Processing on the BLS tracker but OCI Status Enquiry says "No such record found". Is this normal?

So hopefully one more week for our application.

Both my adult and minor OCI applications were submitted as walk-ins at BLS Toronto on April 24, 2025. The adult application was acknowledged on May 7, 2025. However, there is still no record found on the OCI website.

When BLS says OCI process takes 6-8 weeks, is that from the time of Acknowledgement or is it from the time of submission?
