Now the OCI status enquiry website is under maintenance lol!
Hi Everyone
I recently received my surrender certificate and now in the process of applying for OCI.
One of the requirement is to surrender Indian voter ID card. To fullfill that I visited the website (https://voters.eci.gov.in/) .
There are 2 paths from there for submitting form 7.
1. Fill form 7
2. Fill form 7 Overseas
when I visit these 2 webpages individually, each page has further 2 options for sign-in:
1. Indian Resident Elector
2. Indian Overseas Elector
Since I've acquired Canadian citizenship and obtained surrender certificate for last held Indian passport. Technically, my profile lies neither in Indian Resident Elector nor in Indian Overseas Elector category.
My question is to all forum members who've gone through this process regarding what option to select here for online voter ID surrender process sign up.
Please reply with your guidance.

I submitted my OCI application during the walk-in at BLS Toronto on April 24. The BLS status currently shows “Processing at Consulate General,” but the OCI website still says “No such record found.”
How long does it usually take for the record to appear on the OCI website.

Mine It’s been almost two weeks since I applied, and there’s still no update on the OCI website. I’m not sure if something is wrong.
May be wait till end of this week and I hope you are checking with correct reference information.
I am using same application reference number which is in bls website ( start with CAN…..)
Hope you got your OCI card. Just wondering, did you have to sign for the delivery or did purolator just drop it off?Wow amazing! All the best
