I only checked online status - it was updated last night
The letter was sent on Jul 18 and I still haven't received it yet.

It seems that cic has hired 450 decision-makers to replace CJ. Are our cases(test takers of May and June waiting for oath) still approved by CJ or decision makers of CIC? Anyone here knows?

Anyone who wrote the test in June got invitation to Oath?
Took test on June 4th, passed it and nothing so far...

Was really looking forward to an August Oath date...

Hi Portmoody

man that is loong :( Is Vancouver your local office or Surrey?
Hope you get the invite soon!

All the best.

Wow you should call them!
Not sure why it's taking you 4 months?

Most most likely your local office should be Surrey (guessing from your username).

People whose local office is Vancouver and who took the test more than a month after you have already been given oath dates.

As I know, there are still a few April test takers who are waiting for oath letters in Vancouver local office. However, the majority now are the May test takers who receive the oath letters.

^maybe they are still on vacation... :-X

My test was on Sep 16th (more than 3 months now), but I got my DM the week after. Even though they said we need to wait for 3-5 months, it may take longer. I noticed they cancelled a great deal of their November/December ceremonies and rescheduled to December/January.

Since you don't even have the DM and you haven't received the dreaded RQ, you may want to make a freedom of information request to see what the holdup is (google if you don't know how).

I had my test on Sep 14th.

They asked me to submit I94 printout which I did the same day and told me that it'll take 2-5 months before the oath. I had an awesome sweet chat with the officer - she was super nice and explained me why she asked for i94 (i went to the US like 20 times in the past 4 years and she was curious why and wanted to make sure that i stated all visits longer than 24 hours as i applied with a buffer of 7 days over required physical residency time).

Some time in early November my status changed to Decision Made.

Question: do you think the 2-5 months period applies to "from when the test was taken" or to "from when the Decision was made".

Seems like right now the majority in Van get their Oath date around 4 months after the test. Slow but oh well, at this particular situation - we can only wait.

Cheers

I think 3-5 months from test date... However application date also matters.. so if somebody applied in Jan 2015 and just did test i.e in November and everything was okay he may receive oath in couple of days/ weeks unlike Jun applicant for example who may need to wait for longer ( I.e 3-4 months) after Test/ DM
