well i appeared on jan 27th and still waiting for oath. :'(

Thanks F.H. Can you share when they started processing of your file? Have you received any RQ ? Did you have your test in St. Clair? Again, as it is mentioned, the assumption for everyone is that the test/interview was in ST CLAIR.

Hello, here's my timeline:

Oct 2012- received application
Feb 2013- started processing application
Sept 2013- submitted RQ
Nov 2013- submitted fingerprints
Jan 2013- notice to take citizenship exam
Feb 2013- citizenship exam (St. Clair)

This is my timeline :
application sent in December 2012
processing &RQ in April 2013
RQ sent to scarbrough May 2013
notice to prepare in December 2013
notice to take the test in January 21, 2014
passed test and interview @St Claire, February 10, 2014
waiting for oath
been told by the officer that it would take 1-3 month for oath. she also mentioned that she would order my CBSA record in which it would take 2 business days.
keep praying & hope we all get oath dates soon.

Actually it was my wife, she said the interview went fine, officer said everything looks fine, and it will be forwarded to judge and hopefully she will get oath in 2-3 months. My wife then asked if that means she don't need to see the judge, the officer replied that although she can't tell for sure, but it looks like it wont be necessary. Thats all.

Oath takers please let us know how your oath day went. Like how much time it takes from the moment you arrive in the hall and what happens after that. What to do and do nots. What items to take along with us on the oath date. Your information is greatly appreciated. Thank you everybody.

Some of my absences were off by a couple days but the officer say its no problem since i had over 100 days excess. I also forgot to mention 1 address which i stayed in for a month only and had given a phone bill which showed that address! the officer wasn't upset about it and made a note. She said she made most of corrections needed on the file and that i should hear back by spring. Hopefully I wont get called by CJ.

My brother back in my home country is getting married too in April, I want to leave Canada but am concerned, if i got my ceremony after i came back they might check my passport. Does anyone know if they check passports on Oath/Ceremony day?
