Hi I did my test on the 20th of Feb as well. I got a letter last week, Thursday inviting me for the oath ceremony on May 29th.

i got a call 2, they called me tuesday and thursday the same week was my oath day. So sometimes they call pple in order to schedule aoth

the cic rep should be whipped! no kidding i called today to see if an oath date has been issued. i get a very confident reply "test results have not been uploaded yet" i say are you kidding me??!! and the he says "no sir!" i said can you go back and look at it because im very sure i have been told by many reps the test results are uploaded. he goes back and tells me "my apologizes it appears like a LOT of people wrote the test that day!" and then he says yes he can see the results. i hope cic reads these forums!

I called the CIC and asked them if they really call a person to schedule an oath instead of a letter. The agent completely denied it. They said they always mail a letter..
Now I am confused :$

They do call on occasion; when the Oath is within a few days and there is no time for 'Mailing' the letter of Oath.
And accepting the Oath over the phone is voluntary as the CIC needs to fill up spots remaining; if they cant get a hold of you then they shall schedule the applicant for the next ceremony.

p.s. CIC Call Ctr Agents are not knowledgeable at all...their job is to just provide information on your file and follow a standard guidline in answering ones question...

Replied : April 24th, 2013.

St. clair office Received . May 5th, 2013.

No news since RQ reply submitted.
