In case you were thinking that sending a webform actually helps, I thought I would let you know how mine went.
-Applied early Nov 2022
-I sent a webform on Jun 1-2023 politely asking what the hold up might be and if I needed to do anything.
-End of june I got my oath invite for July 5. so I thought that maybe the webform actually did something.
-Aug 2 I got an email response to my webform (a month AFTER I did my oath and 2 months after sending the webform):
Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada.

We are working on processing applications as quickly as possible.
Rest assured that you will be informed as soon as a decision is reached or if additional information is needed.

While your application is being processed, we recommend consulting the Check your application status page to learn how we are processing applications during the pandemic and how to check the status of your application:

Exactly, 2 months after sending the web form and a month after the cancelation of my first application they sent a response exactly as you posted. It is a template they send. Nobody actually pays attention to webform inquiries.

Hey Jose,
My tracker shows that I am scheduled for Aug 14 for ceremony. But I haven’t received the email yet. Do you mind sharing the email address you got invitation from (dm me please)?So I can followup.
The one email address I had has mail box full and my email keeps bouncing back. I have tried webmail and calling live person. Hasn't got me anywhere.

I don't think sending anything does anything, IRCC does what they do when they do it lol.

Finally guys! Alhamdulilah. I have my citizenship! Unbelievable day. Still unreal; I can't process my feelings, even after two days. It feels odd but I am incredibly grateful. Wishing all of you the best, and thank you for all the support and answering questions—especially the admins, who do this for free and keep these forums civic and alive. lol

Did not receive email yet. I will have to reschedule as I will be out of the country.

Update: I have asked to reschedule and I received a reply saying that basically this is not an invitation but a notice to appear. So unless I have someone of my family dying or immediate family member in the hospital, they will not change it. Airline tickets are not enough proof.

I applied for Citizenship in November with family of 4 (2 adults nd 2 minors)I received test invite on March 15th and fingerprints request on March 20th 2023.
Fingerprints received April 10th, my background was completed on April 13th but for my husband it shows last update on April 13th but background is not completed....after that no updates

Does Anyone else is facing the same issue? Plz share
