I got an email today and hour back to confirm below details, I have question on the Original Entry Date. We are in Canada on Work Permit, but before that we came here couple of times on Visitor Visa as a tourist. So what should be the original entry date? Date I entered Canada for the first time or the date since I am on work permit?

Can anyone help ? @legalfalcon - any direction?

 Name:
 UCI:
 Email (as set out in this message):
 Original entry date:
 Date of last time entered Canada:
 Location(Port of Entry):
The original date would be when you came to Canada on your current status, i.e. work permit.

@legalfalcon / or anyone who can help.

Please I have a question: I'm a FSW-inland applicant and waiting for my PR. I applied from Ontario and currently live here on a PGWP. If I move to Quebec while my application is still in process will it have any implication for me? Or is it better to wait for my PR approval before moving?

Thanks a lot!
If you applied under FSW then you cannot live or have an intention to live in QC. IRCC will not ask you to show your intention, it has to be from that day you submit your application based on your current residence, your place of work, etc.

Hi there,

Sharing my timeline with you guys:

FSW-inland - AOR November 6th 2020
  • Eligibility: Passed
  • Criminality: in process
  • Security: not started
  • VO: Ottawa
Super nice agent who said my file was considered inland and should be finalized in the next few months. Not on hold.

No way to have a more precise lead time. Any feedback?

Cheers.
Did you get any ghost updates? I haven't passed my eligibility yet and I'm FSW inland with a Nov 3 AOR

But once the PR has been approved, one can freely move to Quebec, right??? Does it have a negative impact on the Citizenship application down the line?

Yes that's true. We should not create profile on pr confirmation site. But I did it in hurry. @legalfalcon would be any issue?
I did the same, created account myself in excitement and hurry after receiving that email to reply back. later on I replied back with all the info requested plus someone suggested me to send docs such as photocopy of passport address proof a picture attached to email. I did that too. I replied back yesterday but haven't received any update yet. Now I'm worried, can that be an issue that I created account on Portal by myself. someone on this portal told that Its okay, i will be able to see my application in Portal even though I created it not IRCC. can you guide what happened in your case. after how long you were able to see it in portal.

As a PR, you can live anywhere in Canada, including Quebec.

Hi, AOR November 21, 2020. Today when I logged in I saw the status as "updated". However, I don't see any change in my application. Am I missing anything?

Where did you saw updated? @ahmeda02
Once you log in, I was that under "Current Status". It was showing me "Updated" or something. Once I clicked to see what changed there was no obvious change. Anyways when I logged in again now, it shows "Submitted" under "Current Status". I think this means that I already seen the update. The thing is, everything looks the same Idk what update they are referring to.
