@legalfalcon : I’m really thinking of applying for Spousal Sponsorship visa since I’m tired of waiting on my FSW file with no outcome. I’m seeing others getting PPRs but I don’t know what’s happening with my application and is/when I will get it. Nov 2019 AOR COR USA.

Little Background: I’m currently in Canada on visitor visa and my spouse is Canadian PR. Should I go for Spousal Sponsorship? Do I mention existing FSW UCI in this application and use the same email address?

Please can you check your gcms notes for the part where it says ‘assigned to
Assigned by’ I’ll like to know your visa officer and compare with mine

Got a remed request today, and even though its not PPR yet I'm super happy to see at least some activity on my application.

FSW Outland
AOR Nov 2019
VO Ottawa
COR: USA, at time of application
Medicals passed: December 2019
Biometrics: December, 2019

No update after that for 25 months till today when I got a remedical request.

When I got GCMS in Feb 2021, it said that everything was passed except for Security and Eligibility review.

Things are starting to move finally!

I got a re-medical request today even though my medicals are valid till May 2022.
@legalfalcon attached with the medical request letter is the Medical Report form (IMM1017E). In there, my Country of Birth is wrongly populated as "Iceland" instead of "India". I noticed this in my GCMS notes as well when I ordered them. Seems to be a human error from IRCC front. Can I go with the same form for my re-medicals, strike Iceland and write India there? I am planning to call IRCC about it tomorrow.
