Hey guys a quick question: Do we have to link the application? We were having trouble linking back when we submitted the app. and it was very frustrating to call cic (never heard the option of talking to a representative) so we are now only checking the ECAS and emails (we are probably the only couple in this group that check the status 2 a month LOL)

Hi guys! I have a question. My boyfriend and I planned to get married here in Canada. We were in a long distance relationship for 3 years. We are planning to do the inland spousal sponsorship soon. I need your help on what to do best. DO I NEED TO GATHER ACCOUNTS/IDENTIFICATION CARDS BEFORE GETTING MARRIED AS PROOF THAT WE ARE LIVING ON THE SAME ADDRESS? OR WE HAVE TO DO IT RIGHT AFTER THE MARRIAGE WHEN WE HAVE THE SAME LAST NAME. I'M QUIET CONFUSED. Would it be okay to submit documents that we both don't have the same last names on it (What im referring to is my maiden last name). Or should we be sending the one with the same last names already?

Hi there. We were never able to link our application so I would just keep an eye out on eCAS and email. Our AOR was sent to my email, and everything else (e.g. med request) was sent to the PA's email.

Hope that helps!

OMG I think I just received my landing interview email right now. And I logged in to ECAS and it showed decisisn made! Does it mean that I basically got my PR??We were never able to link the app. so it is kind of hard to give everyone a timeline (also the fact that we were not checking very frequently) But here are some of my info:
November Inland Common Law:
PA: China
App received Nov 5
AOR Nov. 15
Medical request Jan. 16
Medical result received sometime in Feb
Background started at the end of Feb or Beginning of March.
Eligibility started April 29 (I am not sure that's what ECAS shows)
DM April 30

Hope everyone else will get theirs soon
