+1(514) 937-9445 or Toll-free (Canada & US) +1 (888) 947-9445
I tried calling them like 3 times but they keep dropping my call due to high volume of calls
I was having the same issue. I got connected when I called using skype/hangout and at around 3.30 pm Canada time. It is mostly around that time that call flow is a bit less. I had to hold for 45 minutes and then could connect..

Hi

Hi Madhu,

It was by luck when I called through skype that I had got in touch with the people there. Since they are saying the application had been passed to NDVO I think it would be best to check with NDVO. But the problem is that NDVO does not respond to queries through phone or in person. It would be best to drop them a mail with the query and keep chasing unless you get a response. The address seems to be delhi-immigration@international.gc.ca.

Wish u all the best.

Libin
Thanks for reply Libin.

But I'm worried why IRCC people couldn't check my application status. They told they couldn't see any information. But in case of yours, they were able to give the information. Any guesses?

Hi Madhu,

I am afraid I would not be able to suggest on that as I am new and learning.. hope someone senior here could provide some insight. I think you should send a mail to the address I mentioned. There is another address for inqueries delhi-im-enquiry@international.gc.ca on which you can put for this enquiry. Also try callling again maybe there is some change..

Hi Madhu,

I called Canada high commission at new delhi on the number +91 (11) 4178-2000.

But they will not provide any details of the application at phone, (in fact they won't even hear us and pass the call to the ivrs options). So it would be best to drop a mail to NDVO and keep trying on the other helpline number for CIC.

Hi all..

Finally the golden mail came through.. after this long time and missing the mail once it came back..

Thank you all for your help and advise. And wish you all the very best for your application.

Libin

Hello guys..

Do we normally have to go to the VFS office in New Delhi, or whichever is closest, without taking a prior appointment ? I am told we can walk in between 9am and 4pm on weekdays to submit the application. Just need to confirm if the information is right? And how many days does it take for the passport to get back to us?

Libin
