Hi Skystar,

Yup already done. ;D

I just got this email:
Dear Sir

This e-mail is in reference to your permanent residence application, under assessment at this office. After reviewing your case, we noted that the following is required:

- Certified Criminal Record Check (Civil Fingerprinting Screening) issued by the RCMP .

Does it ever end? lol
=/
The police station doesn't work tomorrow for this matter so I'll have to wait to get that done on Monday

Haha it will end someday don't worry. .

I have a question..Does every VO expect this finger print document, because I don't recall that it was on the list ?!

Awesome!!
I appriciate you answering my question rhcohen :)

I have no idea why they chose me hahaha
I believe it's because I have been living in Canada for the past 7 months.
Anyway.. It's so Frustating and crazy because I'm not a criminal haha
My records are 100% clean in my home country.. Well
They're buying themselves more time by doing that.. Plus it's more money that I give to the government hahahahaha

Someone on another thread told me he/she got it done and it took 5 days.. so, I'm keeping my hopes up! I'll let the group here know how long it took for me when I'm done with it.

They also requested from me same doc. It took them 7 days or less before cic updated my status ( "finger print / clearance received") . I was applying my permanent residency that time

I wanted to report I just got the email from CIC saying my application has been received (AOR). FINALLY!!!!!

Now...just waiting for SA approval.

This is most likely because there is a known criminal with the same name, age, etc as you and they need to verify it is not you. It has nothing to do with you living in Canada for 7 months.
