November 2013 Citizenship Application

My application was received on October 31st and no updates on ECas. I called CIC this morning and nothing is on the system.

I am getting worried

don't worry, I bet the majority of applications they are processing now are still from October....

Hi members,

After reading some of the members' posts of their citizenship file status become "In-process", I checked and found that my application is also moved forward and status is now "Processing".

"We started processing your application on December 28, 2013" (Google doc is updated accordingly)

I checked my Ecas status and two entries were there one of them was "Received" and another was "Inprocess".

When i clicked Received it just says we have received your payment for citizenship application. Whereas when i clicked "Inprocess" it doesn`t say from when they started processing ? Does it mean they are yet to started processing. can someone throw some light on this.

Below msg shows in Inprocess :
We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on November 12, 2013.

We sent you a letter acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on November 12, 2013. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

please check again because I feel that you missed the last line which state the processing date.

ali24jan - I did checked again but other than those 2 lines nothing is there. Does it mean they haven`t started processing and the third line denotes from when they started processing application ?

I called up cic today and she said that they are opening sep 19 ones now it will take time for all of our nov applications.

I called up cic today and she said that they are opening sep 19 ones now it will take time for all of our nov applications.

pkakula, some of the applicants' status are changed already to "Processing", which means they started opening up November applicants' cases.

They are a bit quicker now!

did your residence questionnair was for 4 years before your application? or since you arrived to canada?

Application received on Nov. 21, 2013.
Can not track any information on CIC. I am wondering if I can only see the information display when my application is in process?
