Hello Everyone
I am new to the forum but here is my current info as a SINGLE applicant residing in Calgary:

"We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on November 22, 2013.

We sent you a letter acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on November 22, 2013. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

We started processing your application on February 6, 2014."

I have yet to receive the AOR or study book. Is there anyone with similar dates applying from Calgary? I submitted to the Syndey/Nova Scotia office though...
Also how can I be added to the spreadsheet?
Can I say this forum is super helpful and definitely a source of encouragement while waiting for CIC :D
Welcome!
I have added your info to the spreadsheet. You may want to take a look: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0ApHR9gzVAMCDdHN4S0xTLUhXOVVWd3F2R3NYbDZaSmc&usp=drive_web#gid=0

It may take a couple of weeks, or even months for one to receive AOR and the book.

rohit - Was the exam easy ? Did they ask any year related question. Can you share which website you reference for preparing ?
It wasn't hard. I can only share what resources I used to prepare for the test:

1. Discover Canada booklet
2. http://www.yourlibrary.ca/citizenship/index.cfm
3. http://www.torontopubliclibrary.ca/new-to-canada/citizenship.jsp

Congrats rohit234 ! That was really fast...
Thanks.
My only explanation for such short processing time is the fact my spouse had applied for citizenship few months before me.

No. I moved few times and and was doing few different things. However, I provided rental agreements, car insurances, T4, tax assessments, OHIP history, travel history from home country, etc together with my application.

Btw, what are the documents you provided for language proof? It seems the additional documents you sent helped in processing your case in fast track..
