Guys please, anyone to reassure me here?!

Hi guys,

I was a December 2012 applicant but my application got rejected because I was missing some months of work experience after my degree.

I just re-sent a new application on November 17, 2013. I had 3 jobs in the last 3 years, but I want my current job alone (NOC 1113) to be considered as qualified work experience (as per the checklist).

With that being said, do you think that I made a terrible mistake by not including my other 2 jobs's reference letters?

Hi Guys,

I am applying under the CEC today. I have a few questions. Appreciate any answers.

1. I have filed under FSW in Feb 2013 and got my AOR and have a BOWP from it. My original IELTS was submitted along with the FSW. So I only have the copy of the IELTS. Can i submit this copy along with my CEC with an explanation letter?
They cleraly mention in checklist that you can use copy if you already used orginal in another application. Though you can get the original for 20$ in a week time by sending email. Any way just copying it from a CEC website
: Keep a copy of your language test results for your records and future use. You may use these results in the future for another application, as long as they are not more than two years old when you apply. You may also use these test results to prove your language levels if you are approved to immigrate and then apply to become a citizen. There is no expiration date for third-party language test results for citizenship applicants.

2. The CEC check list does not show anything about the 1 year of study required to qualify. It only requires 1 year of canadian work experience. Is this normal, don't we need to show our one year of canadian study anymore? no transcripts required?

I wont say its a terrible mistake....But, if you still can send them letters it will be ok. your qualify experience will be counted for last one year exp but they clearly say in forms to submit reference letters. So dont get panic once you get a AOR just send them reference letters if you can...if you cannot send them explaination letter that why you cant submit them

No, the visa office can ask you for documents at any time during the whole PR application process. AoR is just the initial step in this process.

Correct, they check only check if your application package is complete, all forms and documents are submitted and everything is signed and dated.

After receiving AOR they will assess your documents and check the forms etc.

the CIC page that was supposed to be updated weekly as to how many applications have been received has not been updated till now....I wonder if the definition of weekly is the same for CIC as we all know it..

It's still a fairly new system. Give it a few days.

You're right.
Just checked the new OB554 and it says:

A maximum of 12,000 new CEC applications that are complete * will be considered for processing each year.

and as the footnote,

*To be considered complete, for inclusion under the caps and eligible for processing, the application must meet the application kit requirements in place at the time of application receipt and all criteria specified in the MIs.
