Good point :)

It will be good to see AOR time line for applicants after 9th November. Their filtering is strict from 9th. NOC and IELTS score will be checked beforE AOR. Some how I think any applicant who receives AOR after 9th will have more chances of success in second stage because of this..but its just my point of view

I am inclined to agree here...good point!

Also on another note...When I submitted my application I was not in Canada and just included an original Police certificate from my home town as I have been here for the last year. I included a note in my application indicating due to the time frame that I would submit my police certificate from Canada after..do you think this would be okay.. I did not see anything on the website indicating otherwise..( hopefully I did not miss this)

I am just nervously reviewing every aspect of my application in my head although I already submitted :-[

Thanks in advance.

hi pixiebell,

police clearance certificate from canada is not required as they have a direct access to the RCMP database, they will request an RCMP fingerprint only if your name comes under something suspicious to find out if its just a name match or clearly have a criminal record.

hi gladaki,

the new instructions for CEC as of November 9 will sure help in terms of language requirements and people with ineligible scores will not wait long to get rejected on the language basics but still there will be an eligibility check about work experience.the CIO in sydney nova scotia is not going to evaluate the job duties in your reference letter and verify your income at this stage.

Hi all,

just send my application today so count me in. :D

Hi guys,
count me in as well. I've sent my application today, hopefully CIO will get it by the end of next week.. Is that's true, that AOR probably will be issued just in January..? So long waiting time...?
Thanks!

Hey Samir, where do you see the timeline for AOR to be 44 days? If I go by previous apps in September 2013, it took applicants a min of 55 days to get AOR.

Guys AOR time line varies for different month. Take the avg of 50....but dont get panic if you dont get it in 50 days

I have been checking the CIC website for updates on how many CEC applications they have received after November 9 and I don't see the numbers being updated weekly even though it says so on the same website.
Does anyone know an alternative link to check the same (I know that this is a long shot)? Thanks!

The link only shows the number of complete applications, that means, it will start showing applications
once applicants who applied on or after November 9th start getting AORs.
