well, I live in Vancouver...to be exact, work in Vancouver city, live in Surrey, and go play badminton and squash in Burnaby...

I am thinking go by the Cultus Lake...

I love Cultus Lake! We went there several times last summer!

well, I ended up going yesterday (saturday) to squamish valley, had nice lunch there with couple buddies, and came back, later watched the movie at night, and then was at White Rock Beach at around 1am - 3am...so relaxing...came back and slept like a baby...

also, a bit of relief, just received an email from OttPilot office (Sunday Feb 24),
Stage one approved and the file as been forwarded to the New Delhi Office...

Ms. Malawi, please update the spreadsheet...

I am really hoping fellow members here like me waiting for Stage 1 approval get their emails as well...and the post mail in this coming week.

as my gut feeling says, it took them two days to really process the application...as I called Thursday, they said, they sending the request to the office to ask about the update...called on Friday, they said, the file hasn't been opened up....and Sunday, I get an email...back log and negligence, those are the only reasons I could think off...it is off to Delhi, lets see how long they take now...

btw, my officer was 163...anyone else with the same officer?

Haven't been on this forum for a long time. I got a great news. I just checked my e-cas today. It says "in process" and they started processing our application on Feb 14. Hope we will get it done soon. Miss my husband sooooo much.

Wow...I sure hope our spreadsheet turns blue (was it the color for sponsorship approval?) really soon. I wonder what happened that it's taking so long for November applicants to hear from CIC. I mean I know these things happen but I'd like to know why they can't process them in order...

Candy lady.. that is the easy way to do things and with the Canadian government that is not their way of choice. (I can say that as I was once a federal employee )

E-Cas - Electronic Client Application Service -where you can access your application status online if you have a file number or UCI

Here is one number I have come across : + 1 - 613-944-4000 then press 1, for English, then press 2, then you'll get switched to CIC call center, then press 0 then press 2, and you'll be connected to an agent. If it doesn't work I know there is a lot of talk about calling on this thread earlier!

hmmm.. I just looked at my sponsor approval letter and mine was signed "Officer DP". This could be interesting to see if there is any pattern between officers and time lines to approved Stage 1...
