I hope this information is of assistance.

Yours sincerely,"

It shows that its possible for people to get approval even with a Criminal Record.

Good morning,

Please be advised that all requirements have now been met. However, we are in the process of extending your medical examination result by an additional 12 months. Your current result is due to expire on 03/10/13. We will proceed with issuing your Confirmation of Permanent Residence form as soon as this process has been completed.

I did not ask for the extension at all. The VO just simply said that they would do it for me. Not sure how long the extension will take but I've been told it could be up to 3 weeks?

I'm super happy My wife got her passport with the visa in it yesterday. She will be coming to Canada around mid October. She still has lots to do back home before moving. Good luck everyone!!
