Hello!

I am new to this forum.

My boy friend and I submitted our application last year under the common law partner class. And one week ago, I had an interview in the visa office, beijing, China. And the visa officer who interviewed me said that our application has been approved and asked me to do a medical check reassement because the one I did last year was already out of expiry date. And last thursday I did the medical check and the result is okay. So I want to know when they will send me my visa after they get my medical check result, though I know they will send to me definitely, I am just anxious to get it at my hand.

Good afternoon,

We have issued a request to our medical colleagues to extend the result of your examination but are unaware as to how long it will take for them to action our request. We will issue your CoPR as soon as this process has been completed. The process of extending your medical validity and issuing/ mailing your CoPR should be completed before the end of September if our medical staff extend your result without any further requirements.

Well, we are still waiting for any news from Manilla as well. They requested some documents from us in June and we sent them off to manilla in early July but we have no idea if they have even recieved them. We sent the documents registered mail and all the tracking says is that they arrived in the Phillipines. It does not say they made it anywhwere past Phillipine post so we really have no idea what is going on. Very frustrating as we have been in Canada since April but my wife can't work or get healthcare until we get this visa.
