The average waiting time from P1-P2 is 30-40 days today. I'm also waiting, I received P1 on July 22.

I used the same email. PR confirmation was sent to me on the same account where I started my PR application.

Since you’ve already done a medical for your PGWP, IRCC may simply reuse yours from their system (provided it’s still valid). For your common-law partner, it’s generally better to wait until IRCC sends the medical request (IME) with the appropriate form and UCI number — that way you’re sure everything is linked correctly to your file. But you can do upfront medical exam also and update them .

For your change of address, since you don’t have an AOR yet, you won’t be able to link the application to your IRCC online account or use the change-of-address portal.
Until then, the Webform is the correct route — just choose the option “I want to report a change in my address” and include your application details (full name, DOB, date and type of application, UCI if you have one, etc.).
Once you receive your AOR, you’ll be able to link the application to your IRCC account and update any future changes there more easily.

I am a doctor and nominated under a Manitoba community driven stream in 2025, this path way does not require having a job offer.

Prior to this time, I applied for study permit visa (diploma course) through an agent I can't locate again and was denied, in this application I didn't declare that I am a medical doctor maybe because of career progression, although the agent later asked of some documents related to employment which I don't know if he submitted it.

In January 2025 I applied for a visitor's visa which was denied in May 2025, in this application, I declared that I am a medical doctor supported with employment documents.

Now the situation right now is that, I got nominated in Manitoba already, even though the stream is not job related, I submitted employment documents as a Nurse aid and nothing as a documents in the provincial application, now I submitted my PR application and based on the documents I submitted at provincial nomination I didn't declare that I am a doctor in my PR application in IMM5669(Schedule A).

I am still waiting for AOR and i don't want to get PFL from ircc, please how can you help with this situation to avoid misrepresentation?

Personal History section in IMM5669 is notoriously tricky, especially when you want to avoid looking like your life was a patchwork quilt of tiny time slices

Here’s how IRCC generally expects it to be filled out:
1. Short trips during employment

• The Personal History section asks “What have you been doing” for every single month of the last 10 years (or since age 18, whichever is most recent).
• You do not need to break an employment period just because you took a short trip abroad, if you remained employed and it was just vacation/business travel.
• You can keep it as one continuous line:
  Date A to Date B: Employed – [Country where job is based]
  You can later mention in the Travel History section (IMM5562) or a Letter of Explanation that you took trips during that period.

Reason: IRCC is looking for a continuous timeline with no unexplained gaps — travel is handled separately, so splitting for short trips is unnecessary and makes the history look choppy.



2. Change in immigration status during the same job

• If your role and employer didn’t change, you can usually keep it as one continuous employment entry.
• The “status” in IMM5669 is more about your general legal status during that period (e.g., citizen, student, worker), not necessarily every technical change in permits.
• If you want to be precise (e.g., because IRCC has asked for exact legal status changes), you can split it into:
  Date C to Date C’: Employed – Implied status
  Date C’ to Date D: Employed – Work permit
  But in most standard submissions, one line with your main status for that job is acceptable, and you can clarify in a Letter of Explanation that the status changed during that employment.

Reason: Over-splitting makes the form harder to read and may raise questions about “gaps,” when in reality you were continuously employed.
