@Miss bee or anyone that can help me answer my questions,
I have a couple of questions about applying for work permit-LMIA exempt using the recent provincial work permit support letter I received.
Just before I digress, see my situation below.
- I received a PNP (No employment restriction) , this nomination has expired in Apr 2025.
- Applied for PR PNP Class non-express entry in December 2024
- Haven't received AOR yet so I can not apply for BOWP
- My current work Permit and all the status of my family expires in Aug 2025 ( My spouse has Open Work permit and the kids are on visitor records)
- I have a Support Letter from my province for applying for a new Work Permit received in May.
My questions are below;
1. Does my employer need to open an employee portal and pay the fee for me to be able to apply for the work permit-LMIA exempt? I read some where that the employer doesn't need to open a portal or pay the fee if the PNP has not restriction like mine does.
2. Just because I want to get the Our statues changed quicker and receive new letters as soon as possible is it possible to apply via paper application and have all my family members status updated.
