@Miss bee Hi dear, I have an urgent question. My application is still in processing. And in between that time, I changed my address two months ago. I got Portal 1 request last week and gave my new address there. I'm worried if I had to inform IRCC about the change if address right away or is it fine that I have entered my new address in Portal 1. Please help!!!

Hello @Miss bee , I recently received my GCMS notes. In my security, it says it has not started and that the Security decision was referred to a cleared officer. All the other portions are completed and passed. Do you know what that means?
Hi Agg, I recently received the same note in my CBSA record. I wonder have you experienced security screening? what was the next step/update after you seen this note? thank you!

Provincial Allocations – Who’s Negotiating & Receiving More?

  • New Brunswick successfully negotiated an additional 1,500 nomination spots, bringing its 2025 PNP total to 4,250—even surpassing BC’s limit of 4,000 immigrationnewscanada.ca+15cicnews.com+15soscip.org+15. They agreed to welcome asylum claimants in exchange.
  • Newfoundland & Labrador also regained spots earlier in 2025, raising their total to 2,525 aaracanada.com+7cicnews.com+7immicalculator.com+7.
  • Other provinces, including Ontario and Saskatchewan, are also actively lobbying IRCC to restore or partially restore cuts to their PNP quotas .

What This Means for BC

Will BC PNP Array Return to “Normal”?

  • The New Brunswick deal shows that provincial advocacy can succeed, especially by offering alternatives like asylum claimant intake.
  • BC, facing similar labour shortages, is likely to push for more allocations, though we haven’t seen it report success yet.
  • Ongoing developments in Atlantic provinces suggest a new precedent—if BC follows suit, it could gain momentum:

Please I just got a message to sign my IMM 5562 - My travels.
When I first submitted, I didn't state that I had travel since it was 13 years ago. IRCC said 10years or since 18years of age.
Do I need to add the travel still, knowing we'll I didn't submit it the first time since its was a longer time than requested. Thank you

good afternoon @Miss bee, I have a question about imm5562, I came Canada in 2021 until now, never leave, do I need to put this info. on imm5562? thank you.

Do you need to include your stay in Canada on IMM 5562 if you haven’t left since 2021
No, you do not need to list your time inside Canada on IMM 5562 if you haven’t traveled outside the country.
What does IMM 5562 ask for?
It specifically asks you to:
“List all the countries (including your country of citizenship) you have visited or lived in for more than 6 months, outside your country of citizenship or residence, in the past 10 years.”
So if you:
Came to Canada in 2021,
  • Have not left Canada since,
  • And Canada is now your current country of residence,
Then there’s nothing to list under your travels for this period — just leave it blank or write “No travel” or “Did not travel outside Canada”, if a response is required.

Hi, I have a question about police certificate @Miss bee . I have been asked to submit a police certificate from my country. I have one certificate but it is for 2018 when I was living there. After that, I have been in Canada and only visited my country for like one month or two (2022). It was also expired. In my ADR, it asks “Please provide an original and recent Police clearance Certificate from”, I was wondering if it is okay to submit what I have even it was expired? I cannot take right now as it takes at least 1.5 months. Thanks in advance.
