No . There won't be any changes to your portal account. To check status of your pr card application , you should link it to GCKeY account.
After receiving your eCOPR (Electronic Confirmation of Permanent Residence) in Canada, you will typically wait for your PR card to be issued. If you are using the GCKey portal and want to link your PR card application to your GCKey account, here’s how to do it:

     • You may also be asked for your passport number or Application Number (starting with “EP” or “PR”)

Tips:
If the system can’t find your application, double-check:

• The exact spelling of your name (as it appears on the eCOPR)
• Your date of birth and other details
• The PR application may not be in the system yet — wait a few days and try again

Hi Miss Bee,
Sorry to bother you again. I have a question regarding the name format on my documents. I’ve been using only "family name", no given name. My first work permit listed only the family name without a given name. e.g. "Family Name: Sanjiv Kumar." However, in the most recent permit, the same name appears in both the family name and given name fields,
e.g. "Family Name: Sanjiv Kumar" & "Given name: Sanjiv Kumar".
Should I apply for an amendment, or is it acceptable to leave it as is (UCI no. is same in old and recent documents)?
Could this discrepancy affect my PR application?
Also, do I need to update IRCC for my PR application regarding the new work permit?
