You’ve already submitted the necessary details for both of you in response to the portal emails.
As for your younger son, who is 18, dependent, and outside Canada, it’s also appropriate that he did not receive a Portal 1 email—he should instead go through the passport submission (PPR) and visa stamping process at the visa office in his home country. Since the outland process is different from the in-Canada eCOPR process, his information does not need to be included in your Portal 1 replies. So you do not need to resend anything or reply again with his details.
Regarding your elder son, who is 25 years old, on a PGWP in Canada, and not included in your PR application—there is no need to mention him at all. Since he is not part of the PR application, his details are not required in the portal process.
In summary, you do not need to send any additional replies. Your responses are fine as they are. Just ensure your younger son completes the passport submission process outside Canada, and you and your spouse follow the instructions through the PR confirmation portal to receive your eCOPRs.

Will there be any problem if I apply in July and she comes to Canada in August as a visitor?
No, there is no problem.
You can absolutely apply for PR in July 2025, and your wife can enter later in August as a visitor, as long as:

• She has a valid Temporary Resident Visa (TRV).
• You include her as a dependent (spouse) in your PR application at the time of submission.
• Her intention to return temporarily (as a visitor) is clear to the border officer at entry. She must not claim she is coming to “stay permanently” unless her PR is approved. It’s common for spouses to travel while PR is processing, and it doesn’t negatively impact the PR file

2. Can she get any kind of permit here after arrival?
This depends on her situation and eligibility, but here are possible options:
A. Open Work Permit (SOWP) – Only After You Get AIP (PR Stage 1 Approval)
Once your PR application gets AIP (Approval in Principle), your wife may become eligible to apply inland for a Spousal Open Work Permit (SOWP).

• Eligibility: You must have AIP and live together in Canada.
• Application Type: Inland spousal open work permit.
• Processing Time: Usually 2–4 months.

If you apply in July 2025, AIP may come by late 2025 or early 2026, depending on IRCC’s speed.

B. Visitor Extension
If she’s not yet eligible for a work permit, she can:

• Stay in Canada as a visitor (up to 6 months).
• Later apply to extend her stay online before expiry.

C. Study Permit (If She Wants to Study)
If she chooses to enroll in a designated learning institution (DLI), she may apply for a study permit from within Canada.
But this requires admission, proof of funds, and other criteria.

My dependant has received her Portal 2 email (June 4, 2025) - both are inland applications. However I have not received my P2 email yet - been 2 week, IRCC agent stated that all information has been provided, no update.

Is anyone else in the same boat, and any timeline on primary applicant Portal 2 delays, if any?

AR - June 14 , 2024, I have applied outland with dependents by myself no representative.

I have deadline to submit this as soon as possible

Below is ADR'S REQUESTED with my basic answer

Q1. Submissions: Please provide an explanation regarding your qualification for your offered position, as well as your circumstances for securing your employment position with Canadian employer Your IMM5669 form shows that you have been a home-maker since 2020/04 and have no relevant experience as a food counter attendant. Therefore, please provide a response to the following questions:
▪ What are your additional qualification for performing this role?
▪ What are the reasons for you to choose the position of food counter attendant?
▪ How did you learn about this employment opportunity?

My Answer- i dont have a work experience and i got a job with a reference

Q2. Submissions - Settlement plan and applicable documents: please provide a settlement plan regarding your ability/intention to establish in Canada. If available, please provide supporting documentation. Supporting documentation may include: proof of enrollments at educaitonal institutions for your dependents, proof of planned residence in Canada (i.e. tenancy agreement/title deed), social ties in Canada (i.e. testimonials from family/friends/community), etc.

My Answer- what i need to mention in this i have a friend how is in Canada in same province and he is working with same employer i got offer

This letter should include the financial institution’s letterhead and contact information (address, telephone number and email address). In addition, please clarify the source of your household financial income with applicable proof. This is for demonstrating your economic ability to settle in Canada.

My Answer- i have a FD which is on my name from last 1.5 years and that money i received from my husband and its sufficient to survive in canada for more then 6 months

Please help me with atleast with some info.

I would recommend responding with more information and details. You should add:

1) Why are you changing professions to food services worker. Did any of your past work experience involve managing food or meals where this might be relevant for the job you are applying for now.
2) Provide a letter from the friend confirming that you are your dependents can live with them when you first move to Canada. Presumably you aren't going to live with this person indefinitely so explain the expected timing and when you plan to move out and what research you have done on rentals in the area. If you have children, then you would want to indicate what you have done to contact schools in the area about accepting them.
3) Provide a current / updated bank statement in your name on bank letterhead. If there are any recent large transfers into that account, show evidence of where the money from those transfers came from. Show evidence of your husband's income.
