Hi!

Can you please guide if there is any difference between Skill Type A or B regarding your application for Express Entry? Like Type A is preferred or is it as easy to for B as it is for A?
Type A level jobs are Highly Skilled Professional than Type B. For Express Entry, It's really doesn't matter as long as your role and duties fall under NOC A or B.

· Contribution in developing automation framework tool in python/Shell for system/regression/performance and measurement testing.
· Involved in static analysis, dynamic analysis & security analysis of products/applications, Setting up software on IoT Cloud and its administration.
· Contribution in integration of data analytics smart solution suites with private cloud framework of an enterprise.
· Involved in setting up hybrid cloud delivery model allowing for customers to choose the mix of public and private clouds to meet their individual needs.
· Contribution in Android app development and testing.
· Contribution in all phases of quality assurance—effort estimation, testing, debugging, impact analysis, risks and mitigation, support and deployment.
· Technical discussions with customer for discussing requirements, identifying and reporting the software Problems(defect), features, project status & release plans.
· Contribution in requirement analysis, designing inputs during product development phase.
· Contribution in creating, modifying and reviewing technical documentation (Requirements, Design, Test-plan).
· Implementing quality practices - Reviews, Quality audits, defining best practices, process compliance, etc. to ensure that all project SLAs/metrics are met.

Hi All,

I need help in selecting the NOC code for Software Testing / QA professional based upon my roles and responsibilities given below.

I am a Test Lead having 9 yrs of Software Testing - Manual Testing experience. I also have 3 yrs of Peoplesoft HCM Testing in these 9 Yrs. I do not have any automation experience only Manual and ERP knowledge.

My Roles and Responsibilities are as follows:
1. Analyse the BRD and FRD and prepare the RTM. Conduct Meetings with Stakeholders if we are struck at any point of time in regards to the requirements and then clear the requirements and close the queries
2. Then prepare the scenarios as per the BRD and FRD.
3. Conduct the Test Execution process for the finalized scenarios in that release.
4. Also monitor the team of 20 members testing activities and report to the stakeholders along with my senior management about the Test Execution Progress
5. Conduct Team meetings and organize the work accordingly.

Specialist - Testing (2173/ 2171):
  • Confer with clients to identify and document requirements
  • Collaborating with team members in an agile environment to define test strategy and planning.
  • Communication management in collaboration with various engineering and business departments.
  • Manage testing - drive the kickoff meeting with business users, leading the project related calls with Users and stateside partners, share daily UAT execution reports to key stakeholders.
  • Managing the Testing team and assigning tasks, monitoring the progress and guiding them through the process.
  • Conduct independent reviews to assess quality assurance practices, software products and information systems.
  • Validating that functional requirements are being met while paying close attention to high risk areas and communicating testing concerns.
  • Reviewing functional and design specifications to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables.
  • Coordinate with the testing and development teams for internal audits.
  • Establishing quality assurance measures and testing standards for new applications, products, and/or enhancements to existing applications throughout development/product life cycles.
  • Review requirements, developing test plans, including test conditions and expected results, preparing the RTM.

  • Understand and analyze business, functional and design requirements and prepare requirement traceability matrix.
  • Document (script/report creation, plan creation), implement, monitor, and enforce all processes for testing as per validation standards defined by the organization while ensuring quality.
  • Create, execute & maintain test cases for functional UI and embedded device testing.
  • Execute manual Test cases for – smoke, sanity, regression, functional and GUI testing.
  • Coordinated with Onshore and Offshore Teams, as and when needed. Worked on test data identification.
  • Participate in the daily Scrum meeting of the project & send daily status report while also keeping track of the new/ changed requirements of the project.

Software quality assurance (QA) analyst


• Analyzed functional specification and other related documents.
• Documented test strategy and test plan, create Test scripts and Test Scenarios.

Hi,

My job title is Quality Control Analyst and Operations Support.

As the title says, I need help finding the right NOC for the following job description:

- Assist in the administration of the department
- Field incoming help requests via CRM, email and telephone to ensure courteous, timely, and effective resolution of end user issues
- Prioritize and schedule issues
- Identify and learn appropriate hardware and software
- Reinforce SLAs to manage end user expectations
- Assist is in developing help sheets and FAQ lists for end users

- Access knowledge base and FAQ resources on the internet/intranet to aid in problem resolution
